Volunteers represent an integral part of the success of Delhi Foodbank’s ability to help provide food to hungry and malnourished people in our community. With the help of 70,000 individuals, we have served 45 million nutritious meals to communities in and around Delhi so far. Volunteering comes in many shapes and sizes. Some volunteer a few hours, others are able to donate time on a one-off basis and others want to contribute on a longer term basis.
We are seeking competent and motivated volunteers to help us deliver food to our feeding centres and get food to those that need it the most. This is an extremely satisfactory and valuable experience, so whether you want participate as part of a corporate team, or from school or indeed as an individual we welcome your time.
We expect that you are clear about how much time you are able to dedicate, bring your valuable skills-set, are clear about what you are and are not willing to do, be on time and come with an open mind!
In turn, we promise that we will provide a orientation on DFB, provide a space where you can feel free to ask questions and be creative and have an fantastic experience in helping people that are less fortunate than you.
